A photo of a pumpkin flower from the garden. I love the texture of the flower. Pumpkin season is coming soon. Since nothing should go to waste, some Greeks like to fry the flower in a frying pan and stuff it with feta cheese. I haven’t tried it but it should be good.
*Update: In a large bowl add flour, water and pieces of feta cheese. With a spoon fill the pumpkin flowers and place each flower in a deep-frying pan. Take out when they are brown and crispy. I tried them today and they are delicious! Serve as an appetizer.
